Established in 2023, Australian Turf is the aggregation of four of the country’s most prominent turf suppliers.
The formation of the Australian Turf signifies a strategic effort to unify Coolabah Turf and StrathAyr Instant Lawn, located in Victoria along with Jimboomba Turf and Allenview Turf in South East Queensland. Bringing together these established brands allows us to leverage their combined expertise to provide superior turf products and solutions to our customers while promoting sustainable green spaces throughout Australia.
Our Brands
Coolabah Turf is an industry leader in the production, sale and distribution of quality turf grass products in Victoria, Australia – growing ‘lawns for life’. They are one of the nation’s largest growers of premium drought-tolerant, water-smart turfgrass varieties and are regarded amongst the most efficient and technologically advanced turfgrass operations in the world.
Servicing the professional landscape, commercial, council and DIY project sectors throughout regional and metropolitan Victoria, their turf production facility spans over four sites, located in Echuca, Victoria, and comprises more than 265 hectares.
Coolabah Turf is homegrown, harvested fresh daily from the farm, and supplied in premium quality slab cut form, onboard our state of the art refrigerated transport, to ensure foolproof establishment for every green industry professional or first time DIY – backyard ‘turfie’. For Coolabah Turf, it’s more than selling grass – it’s about creating thriving backyards and lively outdoor community spaces where people gather and memories are made.
With a history spanning over 50 years, Jimboomba Turf has a long-standing reputation as one of Queensland’s premier turf suppliers. Operating from the Scenic Rim region on the Logan River, Jimboomba Turf produce millions of square meters of turf annually, serving professional landscapers, commercial projects, councils and homeowners across South-East Queensland.
The Jimboomba Turf team pride themselves on developing innovative products, leading the way in bringing emerging trends into the world of turf, and helping people create a lawn to love and build memories on every day.

StrathAyr Instant Lawn is renown for their innovative approach in turf cultivation, and has significantly influenced modern turf farming practices in Australia.

StrathAyr Instant Lawn has been growing turf and developing natural turf technology for almost 50 years. Their expertise and pioneering methods have set industry standards, and their inclusion in Australian Turf is expected to further advance turf production techniques nationwide into the future.
For over 15 years, Allenview Turf has been producing, eco-friendly turf in the heart of Beaudesert, supplying lush, durable lawns for homes, parks and sporting fields. With a strong focus on sustainability and quality, their mission is to create vibrant outdoor spaces that bring people together.
